The Mapmaker’s Son

A historical adventure series. Seville, 1491.

Antonio Pera, called Falco, is the son of a mapmaker who escaped the fall of Constantinople with nothing but a bronze falcon brooch. He draws charts for a living in the years when charts are worth killing for: the surrender of Granada, the Expulsion, the corsairs, the Canaries and the line drawn at Tordesillas.

Start with The Stranger in the Cell, the night in a Seville cell where it all begins. Every episode closes with a Chronicler’s Note on the real history behind it.
